Based on a complaint by Posco VST Co. Ltd and Inox Hoa Binh JSC, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam has announced that starting October 5, 2014, Vietnam will impose antidumping duties on imported stainless steel products, specifically on cold-rolled stainless steel classified under HS Code of 7219.32.00, 7219.33.00, 7219.34.00, 7219.35.00, 7219.90.00, 7220.20.10, 7220.20.90, 7220.90.10 and 7220.90.90 from China, Taiwan, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Imported cold-rolled stainless steel from China is subject to duties ranging from 4.64-6.78%; Taiwan 13.79-39.29%; Malaysia 10.71% and Indonesia 3.07%.
