In August 2005, KPPI initiated an investigation on cigarette lighters and other lighters (HS No. 3605.00.10.00;  3605.00.20.00;  3605 00.33.00; 3605.00.40.00; 9613.10.11.00;  9613.10.19.00;  9613.10.91.00;  9613.10.99.00; 9613.20.11.00;  9613.20.19.00;  9613.20.91.00;  9613.20.99.00; 9613.80.11.00;  9613.80.12.00;  9613.80.13.00;  9613.80.19.00;  9613.80.91.00;  9613.80.92.00;  9613.80.93.00;  9613.80.99.00; 9613.90.11.00;  9613.90.12.00;  and 9613.90.90.00).

However, after its investigation, KPPI decided to terminate it on 19 January 2006 citing the absence of strong causal link between the increased import and injury.
