On April 17, 2014, the Indonesian Committee on Anti-Dumping (“KADI”) announced that it has self-initiated an anti-dumping interim review on Cold-Rolled Steel in Coil/Sheet products that fall under HS Code 7209.16.00.10, 7209.17.00.10, ex. 7209.18.99.00 of a width until 1.250 mm and thickness of more than 0.17 mm, 7209.26.00.10, 7209.27.00.10, ex. 7209.28.90.00 of a width more than 0.17 mm, 7209.90.90.00, 7211.23.20.00, 7211.23.90.90, 7211.29.20.00, 7211.29.90.00, 7211.90.10.00, and ex. 7211.90.90.00 of a width more than 0.17 mm.

The interim review is launched based on inputs from the interested parties to this dispute claiming that there is a discrepancy between the supply and demand of Cold-Rolled Steel in Coil/Sheet, which results in the shortage of supply for raw materials for downstream industries after the enactment of the Regulation of the Ministry of Finance No. 65/PMK.011/2013 dated as of March 19, 2013.
