On 3 September 2015, Indonesian Antidumping Committee (KADI) initiated an antidumping investigation on imported Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene(BOPP) from Thailand and Vietnam based on application by PT Trias Sentosa Tbk dan PT Lotte Packaging.

The Products Under Investigation fall within the HS Code of 3920.20.10.00 and 3920.20.90.00.

Based on Indonesia Statistic Agency data, the import volume of BOPPfrom 2012 – 2014 were 44.093 MT; 44.182 MT and 35.544 MT respectively, and in 2014, the total import volume of BOPPfrom the alleged countries amounted to 66% of the total imports.

KADI provides opportunity for any interested parties to submit a notice and participate in this investigation at the latest 14 days after the initiation date.
