KADI Begins Sunset Review Investigations on Imported Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene From Thailand and Vietnam
02 April 2018

On 12 December 2017, KADI initiated sunset review anti dumping investigation regarding imposition of antidumping duties against Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP), imported or originated from Thailand and Vietnam. This sunset review was done based on the request of PT. Trias Sentosa, Tbk. and PT. Lotte Packaging, with the tariff classification codes of 3920.20.10, 3920.20.91, and 3920.20.99 (amendments of the codes 3920.20.10.00 dan 3920.20.90.00 BTKI 2012), originating or imported from Thailand and Vietnam. Such duties will be expired on 29 January 2019 based on the Ministerial Regulation No.1/PMK.010/2017 dated 27 January 2017.

Based on the analysis on the submitted application, it was found that through the preliminary evidence that there is still a likelihood of continuation or recurrence of injury and dumping to the domestic industry who produces the like products were the existing anti-dumping duties to be expired.
