This sunset review was requested by PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk. which stated that there is still a continuance of dumping and injury in the domestic industry. The original anti-dumping duties is based on the Ministerial Regulation No. 169/PMK.011/2013 dated 28 December 2013, where the Government of Indonesia imposed anti-dumping duties towards China, India, Taiwan, Thailand, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus that will expire on 28 December 2018.

Form the analysis of the submitted application, there are preliminary evidence of the existence of the likelihood continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury towards the domestic industry.
