On 27 October 2017, KADI initiated investigations on Spin Drawn Yarn (“SDY”) from China. This antidumping investigation is done based on the application of the Association of Fibres and Filaments Producers Indonesia or the Asosiasi Produsen Serat dan Benang Filamen Indonesia (“ASYFI”) that represent PT. Asia Pacific Fibers, Tbk., PT. Indo-Rama Synthetics, Tbk., and PT. Indorama Ventures Indonesia on the imports of SDY, with the tariff code 5402.47.00 (BTKI 2017), which originating or imported from China.

From the analysis of the request application, there are preliminary evidences of injury and dumping incurred upon the domestic industry due to the dumped imports of like products originating from China.
