Final Determination of Antidumping Investigation on Imported BOPET

JWK Law Office successfully represents Indonesian domestic producers in antidumping investigation on imported Biaxially Oriented Polyethylene Terephthalate (BOPET). On 14 December 2015 Ministry of Finance Republic of Indonesia issued Ministry of Finance Regulation No. 221/PMK.010/2015 concerning Imposition of Antidumping Duties on Imports of BOPET Originating in India, China and Thailand. 

 

Products subject to Ministry of Finance Regulation No. 221/PMK.010/2015 are BOPET in the form other plates, sheets, films, foils and strips, of plastics, non-cellular and not reinforced, laminated, supported or similarly combined with other materials falling under the HS Code of 3920.62.00.00. 

 

The antidumping duties imposed on India are ranging from 4% - 8.5%; China 2.6% - 10.6% and Thailand 2.2% - 7.1%. 

 

The imposition of this antidumping duty will be valid until December 2020.
