On 2 April 2019, the Minister of Finance has enacted the Minister of Finance Regulation No.36/PMK.010/2019 concerning the Imposition of Anti-Dumping Measure on Imported Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene from Thailand and Vietnam. KADI has reported its recommendation to extend the anti-dumping measure based on their sunset review investigation, which was initiated on 12 December 2017.
The imported product that imposed with the anti-dumping measure is biaxially oriented polypropylene in film roll, plat, sheet, foil and strip, which classified under tariff codes: 3920.20.10; ex. 3920.20.91; and ex. 3920.20.99.
The anti-dumping measures will extend for five years, since 18 April 2019. Vietnam get 3,9% and Thailand get 28,4% for the anti dumping duty. In this case, JWK Law Office as the legal consultant has successfully assisted the petitioners during the sunset review investigation.
