On 12 September 2017, the Government of Argentina initiated anti dumping investigation on imported polyester textured yarn from India and Indonesia, based on a request filed by Manufacturas De Fibras Sinteticas S.A.

The Product Under Investigation is polyester textured yarn (other than sewing thread) of a value below or equal to 350 decitex, not put up for retail sale, which classified under tariff codes 5402.33.00.

The period of investigation is from June 2016 – August 2017 and the injury investigation period shall cover the periods Jan 2014 to August 2017.

Argentina allows Exporters and Importers file the questionnaire responses within 30 days from the date of the publication of the notification (if no extension granted) and within 60 days from the date of notification for the Exporters and Importers with extension granted.
